Tale Behind the Curtain ("TBTC", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It is written to align with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

• Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, business name and any details you share when you book a call, email us, or fill in a form.
• Booking information. Calls are scheduled through Calendly. When you book, Calendly collects your name, email and selected time, and shares it with us.
• Usage information. Standard web data such as your browser type, device, referring page and pages viewed, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
• Advertising data. If you arrive via one of our ads, Meta may share aggregated, non-identifying campaign data with us.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and deliver the strategy call you requested.
• To provide our services if you become a client.
• To send you relevant follow-ups about our services. You can opt out at any time.
• To improve our website and measure the performance of our marketing.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party providers that may process your data on our behalf. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Calendly: call scheduling.
• Meta Platforms: advertising and audience measurement.
• Google: fonts and analytics.

4. Cookies

Our site uses cookies to keep it working properly and to understand how visitors use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not function correctly if you do.

5. How we store and protect your data

Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled services. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

7. Children

Our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be noted on this page.
